Tottenham fans haven’t had too much to celebrate over the course of the season, with their last few weeks leaving much to be desired in North London. They did, though, manage to pick up a win over the weekend, and so Mauricio Pochettino’s men could be on their way back to their best.
Tottenham fans, though, are already beginning to think about the January transfer window. Over the last week or so, Tottenham have been linked with Mexican sensation Hirving Lozano, who has enjoyed a brilliant start to the season over in the Eredivisie with PSV.
In response to the rumours, we asked Tottenham fans whether they’d like to see him at the club, and it’s fair to say that he’s a popular player in the English capital. In response, 84% of those polled have revealed that they would like to see their club target Lozano, whilst just 16% of fans are against the prospect.
A few months ago, the responses may have sided more with the negative approach, but his fine World Cup brought him onto the radars of many fans. He impressed for Mexico over in Russia, in particular with his technical ability and offensive flair. He’s continued that into this season with PSV, and he’s already picked up a very stellar 7 league goals.
At just 23-years-old, Lozano is obviously a player with bags of potential, and Mauricio Pochettino has proven time and time again that he’s able to bring the best out of youngsters. The prospect of him linking up with the likes of Dele Alli and Harry Kane in the Tottenham attack, then, is a mouthwatering one for Tottenham fans – as their votes reflect.
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham follow up on their apparent interest.
