Chelsea fans here in the Tavern are ecstatic after their dominating performances at the weekend, which is set to be boosted by the news one of their star men nearing a return.
Stamford Bridge has been a place filled full of mixed emotions so far this season, with disagreements, heartbreak, happiness and disapproval all take their toll on the Blues. But, after winning the Premier League trophy in his first season with Chelsea, it was always going to be difficult to keep the fans happy with an uphill task of retaining it, considering Manchester City’s formidable form.
However, one player who did his best to undo all the wrongs within the club was summer signing Alvaro Morata, as his six goals in as many games at the start of the season had fans catching glimpses of Didier Drogba. Although, that seems to be just a distant memory, as only four Premier League goals have been added since then in what’s been a frustrating period for Chelsea fans.
Indeed, after missing out on the weekend’s encounter with a back injury, Chelsea fans weren’t too fussed after Michy Batshuayi grabbed a brace. Nevertheless, Chelsea’s Twitter account took to posting a statement from Antonio Conte, that stated that the Spaniard has returned to training but needs time to recover.
Conte says Alvaro Morata will start training tomorrow but after the type of injury he has had he needs a bit of time to recover.

Following the club’s post, fans were quick to dismiss a return for the striker as they’re in no rush to see him back at Stamford Bridge anytime soon.
So without further ado, here’s a look at exactly the sort of reaction being given off on social media…
