The Liverpool fans are feeling confident in the Transfer Tavern ahead of their fixture against West Ham United on Saturday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will have the opportunity to overtake Manchester United and move into 2nd place on Saturday afternoon due to the Red Devils schedule which sees them take on Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday. Results in the Premier League this weekend could significantly alter the dynamic of the race for the top-four and edge The Reds ever closer to securing their place in next seasons Champions League.
Ahead of their weekend fixture, the Liverpool supporters turned their attention towards Chelsea’s midweek fixture against Barcelona last night to see how their top-four rivals fared against the Catalan giants. Following an intense tactical battle, the game eventually finished 1-1 on an evening when Liverpool’s former controversial star Luis Suarez (valued at £76.5 million by Transfermarkt) made a return to English soil.
It was a relatively quiet evening for Suarez who surprisingly did very little to influence the game against a well-organised defensive unit. In the aftermath of proceedings, another of Liverpool’s former players, namely Jamie Carragher, posted a picture with the Uruguayan on his Twitter page.

In response to the tweet, plenty of the Liverpool supporters called for their club to bring Suarez back to Anfield, whilst others took a more tongue in cheek approach and slated Carragher for his goal-scoring prowess at the wrong end of the field.
Here’s what the Liverpool fans have had to say in response to Carragher’s Twitter post…
Bring him BACK , Jamie @Carra23
