The Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to the news that Swansea’s South Korean midfielder, Sung-Yueng Ki will be moving on this summer after the Swans relegation was confirmed yesterday. Ki will be bringing an end to his five-year spell at The Liberty Stadium and could return to Parkhead after leaving Celtic in summer 2012.

Swansea had their relegation confirmed yesterday as they were downed 2-1 by Stoke City at home to confirm their impending relegation. Carlos Carvalhal was brought in to steer the Swans clear of the drop zone and despite memorable wins against Arsenal and Liverpool at The Liberty, the former Sheffield Wednesday man wasn’t able to pull his side clear of relegation, with the 1-0 home loss to Southampton proving to be decisive.
The club will no doubt be forced to sell a number of their prime assets. Ki could be just the first in a long list of players leaving Wales this summer. Luciano Narsingh, Jordan and Andre Ayew, Leroy Fer and Alfie Mawson could also be on their way, although the Celtic fans are only interested in Sung-Yueng Ki. The South Korean was in Glasgow for two and a half years between January 2010 and summer 2012.
