Wolves will be looking to extend the good start they have made to the new Premier League season when they take on Southampton at home later today.

Nuno Espirito Santo's men currently sit 10th in the table on nine points, having earned draws against both Manchester City and Manchester United along the way, and have since come in for praise from many including club legend Steve Bull.

The Breakdown

Bull credited his old side for their display in their recent 1-1 result at Old Trafford with summer signing Joao Moutinho lauded specifically by the 53-year-old.

"Moutinho is a superb player," Bull told the Express and Star. "Him and Neves complement each other all day long in the middle of the park. Getting him for £5million was a snip to be fair. Mr Mendes is getting all these players and he knows his football. All I say is keep fetching them."

With the ability he possesses, the experience he has and how much he cost, £9m-rated (via Transfermarkt) Moutinho was an absolute coup for Wolves.

The 32-year-old is a brilliant passer of the ball be it across short or long distances, while he is also a very capable finisher around the edge of the box -- something he showed with his goal against Manchester United.

Together with compatriot Ruben Neves, the pair may just form one of best midfield partnerships in the Premier League.

If Wolves are to have a successful season, it is imperative the Portuguese duo maintain their form. But with the individual quality they both possess, that should not be a problem.
