The pressure is already on Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger as he looks to build his Arsenal team into potential Premier League champions this summer.
The Gunners fans lining the bar here in the pub were seriously split on whether the Frenchman was the man for the job moving forward but the board certainly made their move and Wenger will be staying for at least another two years by the looks of things.
But it’s absolutely imperative that the Gunners make their move in the transfer window sooner rather than later as some of their big rivals look to pay big money for targets early on in the window.
And one man that could be set to leave the Emirates this summer is Alexis Sanchez, who has been linked with a move to both Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
And this weekend, Bayern manager Carlos Ancelloti has confirmed his side are interested in a move for the Chilean international but won’t pay “crazy sums” for his signature.
Speaking to the Mirror, Ancelloti confirmed his a big admirer of the Arsenal forward.
“If an opportunity comes up, the club will be ready.
“There are lots of rumours. Alexis is a great player but not the only one in the world. I like Alexis- there are possibilities in the transfer market, which can be in many directions,” he added.
