Chelsea fans are looking worried with the latest claim from the Daily Mail here in the Football Transfer Tavern as it seems that another club has joined the race for Chelsea star David Luiz.
The defender turned midfielder has faced concerns over his future since the second coming of Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge with it being thought that he does not fit into the side Mourinho wants and is certainly not a ‘Jose type of defender.’
Luiz had been utilised in the middle of the park by previous interim boss Rafael Benitez yet Mourinho is not keen on the player there either it seems.
Given that Barcelona are already making enquiries for the player they believe could replace the similarly floppy haired Carles Puyol, it is little shock that now Bayern Munich and Pep Guardiola have their eye on the Brazilian international too.
After making a fantastic goal-line clearance in the victory of the recent Confederations Cup Final against Spain which his Brazil side won, Luiz has become an Internet sensation.
Should Mourinho chose to sell the player, he will be looking for at least £25 million in order to buy a replacement and that is a sum that both Bayern and Barcelona are reportedly willing to put forward.
Will Luiz join the Pep revolution at the Allianz Arena? Rate this rumour below.
