Burnley, Bournemouth and Watford all lining up moves for £9m attacker

The Burnley fans in the Transfer Tavern are locked in argument with the Bournemouth and Watford fans as they all chase a highly rated winger.

Each set of fans thinks that their club is the best option for AZ Alkmaar winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh.

Alireza Jahanbakhsh is being linked with all three clubs and looks set to be at the centre of a three way summer transfer battle, according to a report by The Daily Mail.

The Iranian international is enjoying a very successful year playing for AZ Alkmaar in the Dutch Eredivisie – Netherlands’ top division.

AZ Alkmaar are willing to sell their star winger at the right price, with a £9m fee apparently being enough to prise him away.

The 23-year-old is a free scoring attacking midfielder or wide man and he has impressed in Holland since joining NEC in 2013.

In 2015, he resisted some big clubs’ interest to join AZ Alkmaar and continue his development and now he could be ready for a Premier League move.

The impressive young winger has contributed with nine goals and more assists this season, which has caught the eye of some admirers.

Jahanbakhsh is renowned for being able to use both feet and a Premier League move could be on the cards.
