Burnley

Burnley moving for relegation-bound £11.7m-rated striker would be a brilliant signing

It’s well known amongst the Burnley fans within the Transfer Tavern that their team have had an unbelievable season in the Premier League as their European hopes and dreams continue on. Sean Dyche has worked wonders on the Clarets to take them from relegation-battlers to a team competing for Europe.

Burnley are a true team and their chemistry together is probably the best in the whole league. They don’t have any big names or wacky haircuts but they just get on with their football and continue to impress. As much as Burnley fans hope this great form can continue, with other teams around them ploughing money into their clubs, the Clarets may struggle to compete financially with other teams and suffer the consequences by sliding back down the table, un-doing their hard work.

Burnley operate on a decent amount of money and us punters believe that a great use of that would be to bring in Salomon Rondon, who is valued at £11.70 million on Transfermarkt. The big West Brom striker has been one of few players who can hold their head high after a disastrous season for the Baggies is coming to the end, with the result most likely seeing them relegated to the Championship.

Even though they’re bottom of the table, Rondon has still helped with providing 8 goals and 3 assists this season which should be considered a decent return. Burnley do have firepower themselves up front but, as the league grows tougher and tougher every year, the Clarets can’t afford to stand still in the transfer market and must improve in all departments, especially if they will be competing in Europe next season.
