Burnley are one game away from the Europa League group-stage but that could have a dramatic effect on their Premier League form.

It's been proven over the years that teams involved with the Thursday night games typically find it more difficult in the Premier League and with Sean Dyche not exactly blessed with a huge squad, it could be a massive challenge for the Clarets.

Nevertheless, it's one they're enjoying and it's an amazing achievement for Burnley to have even got this far. Their league form though needs to worked on and they really could have done with more signings this summer, specifically a player like Yannick Bolasie - who is valued at £16.2 million on Transfermarkt.

The 29-year-old was linked with a move to Turf Moor over the summer but in the end, nothing came of it. That could be a bad move for both player and Burnley, because they've missed out on a top wide  player that could have been influential this season.

DR Congo international Bolasie struggled with injury for the most part of last season, even though he did manage a total of 16 appearances in the Premier League, with 11 of those being starts.

Burnley have experienced wingers in Aaron Lennon and Robbie Brady but Bolasie offers something completely different to them both. With electric pace and phenomenal skill, the 29-year-old would have been a great option for the Clarets, offering not only squad depth but quality as well.

Sean Dyche is a top manager and under his guidance, Bolasie could forget about his Everton failure and move to a Burnley side who are on the up.
