Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern want to see some late moves in this window and, according to Express and Star, there could be plenty still to come.
The Villans are harbouring hopes of a play-off challenge for the rest of this season with the job Steve Bruce has done since coming in earning him plenty of plaudits.
You feel they might need a few extra players, though, and they could get them – but it appears it may come at a cost.
The report believes that Swansea are keen on bringing the Villans’ Jordan Ayew in with the idea that Neil Taylor and Modou Barrow will go the other way.
Ayew is currently at AFCON 2017 with Ghana and has been one of Villa’s brightest stars this season with his creativity in the final third.
It’s likely, then, that Steve Bruce would want to keep hold of him but if he feels that the combined efforts of Barrow and Taylor could offer him more then he may be interested in doing business.
It’s certainly an intriguing one but what do you think, Villa fans? Let us know below!
