Arsenal fans here in the Tavern will be desperate to see improvements in the next campaign after missing out on Champions League football.
Indeed, the Gunners continue their search for a new manager as a number of potential Arsene Wenger replacements are being lined up, with many of our local residents feeling confident that the club will appoint the right man.
Although, Arsenal’s new boss will need to dip into the summer transfer window as there’re plenty of improvements to be had after a rather disappointing season.
Interestingly, it’s understood that the Gunners are ready to sell midfielder Aaron Ramsey if he does not sign a new contract before next season. So, the Gunners’ new boss will definitely need to find a replacement if his contract situation isn’t resolved, as the Welshman has been a key player at the Emirates in years gone by.
With that in mind, Arsenal’s new boss should be signing this star as his replacement…
Javier Pastore, who is valued at £16.2 million (by Transfermarkt), has had to get used to spending time on the substitutes’ bench this season after welcoming Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to Paris Saint-Germain back in the summer transfer window.
Encouragingly, it’s understood that the Argentinian accepted that his time in Paris is coming to an end back in March, as a move to the Emirates may be a possibility this summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old can play in central midfield, as a No.10 or on the left wing, and his creativity would be welcome at the Emirates after seeing Alexis Sanchez depart back in January.
