Tottenham Hotspur have been impressive so far this season as their lackluster summer seems to have had no effect on their results.
Spurs are a force to be reckoned with in the current campaign as they continue to establish themselves as title challengers under Mauricio Pochettino. Although, the Argentine did wave goodbye to one of his players recently, as according to Swansea City’s official website, Cameron Carter-Vickers has joined Swansea City on a season-long loan.
Cameron Carter-Vickers watched the Swans in action against Bristol City having completed a medical at Fairwood.
The 20-year-old opted to move to the Liberty Stadium despite attracting interest from a number of Championship clubs.
More importantly, Mauricio Pochettino will be keen to see how the youngster fares in the Championship after being shipped out to Sheffield United last season, with a first team spot possibly available for him in the next campaign.
Cameron Carter-Vickers was used quite a lot during pre-season while some of Spurs’ World Cup contingent regained their fitness. But, it’s now been confirmed that he will spend the current campaign on loan at Championship side Swansea City, so he can finally get regular minutes under his belt.
The central defender is one of the most promising players in English football and will definitely be given a shot in the first team under Mauricio Pochettino in the near future.
