‘Can replacement sorted’ – Liverpool fans delighted by manager’s recent public admission

The Liverpool fans are feeling confident in the Transfer Tavern as their side move towards the business end of the season in a positive run of form.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have been in excellent form of late both domestically and in Europe. Liverpool have moved within just two points of 2nd place Man United in the Premier League and their 5-0 away victory in Porto last week all but ensured they will be in the hat for the quarter-final draw in just a few weeks time.

Liverpool’s performances have encouraged both fans and pundits to heap praise on individuals such as Roberto Firmino, Mohammed Salah and Andrew Robertson, but a player who is currently playing his trade away from Anfield has become the subject of high praise in the public eye during the last 24 hours, namely Marko Grujic (valued at £4.5 million by Transfermarkt).

The young Serbian international recently moved on loan to promotion chasing Cardiff City in search of first-team football, and his performances since moving to The Bluebirds have clearly been appreciated by their manager Neil Warnock.

According to The Liverpool Echo, Warnock has spoken of Grujic’s improvement in recent weeks and claimed that his increased exposure to first-team football has been the core reason for his recent development.

Warnock’s comments have provoked a discussion on Twitter amongst The Reds faithful who are intrigued by the recent form of the 21-year-old, and many have even suggested that he could be ready to step into Liverpool’s first-team next season in place of Emre Can.

Here’s what the supporters had to say about Grujic in response to Warnock’s latest comments…
