Oumar Niasse could leave Everton in the January transfer window.
Cardiff City are believed to be keen on taking the 28-year-old away from Goodison Park this January as they look to add firepower to their ranks.
The Premier League strugglers are thought to have other options, however, they are also looking to beat off competition from Crystal Palace for the Everton misfit.
Niasse has struggled to get regular first-team action under Marco Silva, despite having played for him at Hull City, and could be open to a move away from The Toffees.
Niasse was originally brought to Everton by Roberto Martinez, however, he has failed to make a real impact on Merseyside.
The Senegal international could find a switch to Cardiff as the ideal way for him to get back to playing regularly and rediscovering his feet within the Premier League.
It remains to be seen if Everton look to offload the 28-year-old, and whether it will be on a permanent or temporary deal.
