Cech wants specific managerial change at the Bridge

cech.jpgIn news that will be approved by all Chelsea fans here at the Football Transfer Tavern it has been claimed in the Daily Mail that stalwart stopper Petr Cech wants Jose Mourinho back at the club.

With Rafael Benitez claiming that he will in fact be leaving the club in the summer, the hunt is on for a new manager and Chelsea only have a few options available to them. In a not so surprising turn of events the club have seen both Michael Laudrup and also Pep Guardiola turn down their advances through what we can only speculate is the fear of the Roman Abramovich merry-go-round and now it seems that a marriage of convenience with Mourinho may well be on the cards.

The Special One is currently at Real Madrid and looks set to leave at the end of the season with his destination yet to be unveiled. Many punters believe the Portuguese genius will end up at one of Chelsea or Paris Saint Germain should former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti get the boot and Cech is in no doubt as to where Mourinho should go.

The goalkeeper claimed that: “We had a fantastic success with him, so why not? He is a fantastic manager.” When pressed further and asked about fans chanting Mourinho’s name he even added: “Of course, I understand that. Jose Mourinho did a fantastic job for the club and people loved him so he rightly deserved that. This is the way it should be.”
