The Celtic fans here in the Transfer Tavern are relishing the start of next season, with the club set to embark on a new era under the stewardship of manager Brendan Rodgers.
The former Liverpool man is seen by many of the Celtic contingent as a real coup for a club north of the border and it is hopeful that he can restore some pride in the Champions League for the Glaswegian giants.
According to The Express, Rodgers has one eye on Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer as he looks to rebuild his squad and stamp his own authority on proceedings at Celtic Park, ahead of next season.
Dyer spent last season on loan with Premier League champions Leicester City but has now returned to Swansea City, where he is not currently in the club’s plans for next season.
One Celtic fan is sat in the Tavern’s beer garden and he thinks that Dyer would be a shrewd signing, stating that his pace would be a real asset in the Scottish Premier League.
Celtic fans, would you welcome Dyer to the club? Who else should Brendan Rodgers try to sign?
