It’s been a stunning season for Celtic up in Scotland as Brendan Rodgers led his side to the treble.
The Bhoys swept aside the competition as they won both cups and the Scottish Premier League title, with Rangers’ return to the top flight doing little to stop their dominance domestically.
But one real downfall was the poor Champions League campaign that we saw, with Celtic failing to get out of the group.
It’s meant that a potentially ground-breaking season had one major blip but moving forward, it’s clear that the Celtic fans lining the bar here in the pub want to see Champions League success return again next season.
And one man that might be a part of that again could be Manchester City star Patrick Roberts, who, according to the Mirror, is edging closer towards a permanent move north of the border.
The talented striker has shone at Celtic all-season long but the managerial change we’ve seen at the Etihad in recent months means his long-term future in England is in doubt.
But he’s becoming quite the star at Parkhead and the Bhoys supporters really appreciate the work he’s put in over the past couple of months.
One potential stumbling block could be the potential transfer fee, with Celtic reportedly only ready to pay £5million for the young forward, despite City paying £12million when they signed him from Fulham.
Celtic fans- would this be a good permanent addition? Leave your thoughts down below!
