Celtic are continuing their efforts to make their squad stronger this summer as they will want to retain their status as Scottish Champions.
Brendan Rodgers has watched Old Firm rivals Rangers and Steven Gerrard conduct an untold amount of business in the transfer market and will want to make sure his side are up to the task in continuing their dominance.
The Bhoys already have a strong squad, however, it is thought that that Northern Irishman would still like to make a couple of additions to his team, and reports are suggesting he could be about to bring another name to Celtic Park.
According to a report in the Herald Scotland, talks between the Scottish Premiership champions and Manchester City are ongoing about a loan move for Daniel Arzani. The Premier League champions are thought to be closing in on a deal to bring in to the United Kingdom from Melbourne City and are prepared to send him north of the border immediately.
Arzani is one of Australia’s brightest prospects and his talent has not gone unnoticed. He became the youngest player to ever feature at the World Cup this summer and is expected to go far in the game.
The teenager is extremely versatile and can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger and would certainly help to bolster the attacking core Celtic already have.
The Scottish outfit already have fellow compatriots Tom Rogic and Leo Mazis at Parkhead, so Arzani may find it easier to integrate himself into the club quickly.
