The Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to Brendan Rodgers’ comments as he welcomed Steven Gerrard into his new job at Ibrox. The former Liverpool gaffer welcomed Gerrard into his new role by claiming he had joined “the land of no sleep.” Gerrard will have to wait until next season until he faces Rodgers as the last Old Firm clash was last Sunday, where Celtic came out 5-0 winners.
Brendan Rodgers confirms @MDembele_10 and Stuart Armstrong have returned to fitness and are available for Sunday's clash at Tynecastle.
On Steven Gerrard becoming a manager, he said "Welcome to the land of no sleep!".

Steven Gerrard has taken up his first job in senior football management and will be joined by former Scotland captain, Gary McAllister, who also shared a Liverpool dressing room with Gerrard in the early 2000’s. Rangers are need of a serious rebuild following the awful disappointment that this season has been. The club bowed out of Europe back in July when Progres Niederkorn advanced past them in the Europa League qualifiers.
The Celtic fans propping our bar up also had Rodgers’s break the news to them that both Mousa Dembele and Stuart Armstrong are fit and will be available for the club’s trip to Tynecastle to face Hearts. The club have already wrapped up the Scottish Premier League title but are just one win away from completing a double-treble and if they can overcome Motherwell at Hampden on May 19th it’ll make the start to Gerrard’s life at Ibrox even tougher.

Celtic Twitter. We don't care about Gerrard. We want to hear about Celtic and Celtic only. Thanks.
