Celtic are once again looking to secure an unbeaten record in the SPL this year and have already made it 11 unbeaten under Brendan Rodgers.
The Bhoys look on course for another sensational season and there’s every reason to believe that they could well go undefeated again, with some of the football on show a joy to watch and teams not even looking like upsetting the odds against them.
Celtic will no doubt be looking to strengthen come January again, and our landlord here at the Tavern thinks that Manchester United youngster James Wilson could be the ideal signing for the Glasgow giants.
Wilson has enjoyed loan spells in the Championship already to varying degrees of success, but now at 21, he needs some regular football and a real breakout season if he is to succeed, and Celtic could offer him that chance.
The striker could well take a leaf out of the book of fellow Manchester resident Patrick Roberts, who has been enjoying an excellent spell north of the border and delivering excellent performances week in and week out.
Wilson really needs to start making an impact and showing he can score goals. His early promise from being a teenager is dwindling somewhat, however a move to the SPL and the chance to impress with Celtic could be the making of him, and is an opportunity he should snatch with both hands if given the chance.
Celtic fans, what do you make of Wilson? Would you welcome him to Celtic Park? Let us know in the comments!
