Champions-elect set Tottenham hefty price tag in chase for international ace – Report

Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern will be feeling fairly confident that their side has achieved Champions League football next season and will be looking ahead to the summer transfer window.

Spurs are looking to strengthen their side as they want to challenge for major honours and they may have been handed a boost when it comes to a player they have been tracking. According to reports in France, Paris Saint-Germain have set an asking price for a man that Mauricio Pochettino has been targeting.

RMC Sport are claiming the Ligue One side have told Tottenham that they will need to pay 25million euros to land Layvin Kurzawa. The left-back joined the Parisians in 2015, however, he has found opportunities hard to come by, often being used as cover for Maxwell, before Yuri Berchiche came into the fold.

Spurs are likely to have competition to sign him, with Manchester United and Chelsea all rumoured to be interested in acquiring him and it is expected the France international will consider a move to the Premier League as he looks to further his chances to get more caps.

Landlord’s Verdict

The Tottenham fans in the Tavern will be watching with interest to see if they can lure another defender from the French outfit, after signing Serge Aurier last summer, and add more recruits to help them achieve their aims.
