It’s been a tough few months for Liverpool and manager Jurgen Klopp, who finally sneaked into the top-four of the Premier League come the end of the season, securing a Champions League place for the upcoming campaign.
The pressure began to build on Reds manager Klopp, who needs to start bringing silverware to Anfield having put together a team he thinks is worthy of competing at the top in England.
The former Reds man has been extremely active in the transfer market throughout his time at the club and as a result, there have been players that haven’t seen as much match action as they might’ve liked.
And one man that certainly falls into that category is defender Andre Wisdom, who is struggling to make an impact on Merseyside.
The 24-year-old was shipped out to Austria on a season-long loan last time out, where he featured 22 times for Red Bull Salzburg. This season could see more of the same for the young right-back too, with Harry Redknapp thought to be plotting a move to bring him to St Andrews next season, according to the Birmingham Mail.
Birmingham just about survived on the last day of the season thanks to a 1-0 win over Bristol City but optimism is high at St Andrews following the permanent appointment of former Pompey manager Harry Redknapp.
Emilano Nsue was signed by Gianfranco Zola during his tenure in-charge but Redknapp wants to increase competition in his Blues squad moving forward.
