Wolverhampton Wanderers fans will be praying that their side can pick up where they left off prior to the international break as they eased past Manchester United. But, a tough challenge await the Midlands club as they’ll travel to Turf Moor to face Sean Dyche’s Burnley.
The Old Gold have surprised everyone in the current campaign with their slick passing and dangerous counter-attacking football, with a European spot now looking like a possibility for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
And, it appears as if the fans aren’t the only people in awe of Wolves at this moment in time, as Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas described them as being ‘breathtaking’ this season when giving his Super 6 prediction for this weekend.
‘Wolves have been the story of the season, sitting in seventh. They have been breathtaking to watch at times. They will mix it up with Burnley and be busy.’
Many Wolves fans will agree that Nuno Santo has worked wonders ever since he joined the club and his hard work is starting to pay off in the Premier League. The Portuguese contingent have had a massive part to play in the Midlands club’s rise on the field, as well as the likes of Connor Coady, Matt Doherty and Raul Jimenez.
It must feel nice for Wolves supporters to finally see their side getting the appreciation they deserve, as some of the free-flowing football that’s been played at Molineux and at big ground around England has been mind-blowing.
