Manchester City never look like dropping off the pace as they consistently deliver quality performances.
The Citizens have looked unstoppable in the current campaign despite a slight scare against Wolverhampton Wanderers, as they secured all three points against Newcastle on Saturday. Although, City did wave goodbye to one of their youth players recently, as according to Championship side Brentford’s official Twitter account, Charlie Oliver has joined Brentford B on loan until January.
Indeed, Manchester City’s Charlie Oliver has joined Brentford B on loan until 1 January 2019.
The 20-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Fleetwood Town, but made just one appearance in League One for them.
However, he will now continue his development with Brentford’s B team and is available for their match against Huddersfield Town’s Under-23 side.
The youngster has a promising future ahead of him but he just hasn’t been able to enjoy regular minutes at any club in recent times, with a move to Brentford B hopefully helping him gain some confidence.
Manchester City have a number of bright prospects at their disposal and out on loan at different clubs, so the future is definitely bright for the defending Premier League champions, despite the amount of money they’ve spent to bolster their squad in recent years.
