Chelesea looking to add FIFTH Brazilian to their ranks

Chelsea fans are looking optimistic in the Football Transfer Tavern as they are linked with a Brazilian youngster from the Portuguese Primeira Liga.

According to the Daily Star, Jose Mourinho is chasing Anderson Talisca from Benfica after some standout performances this season which has seen him bag three goals in five games from midfield.

The 20-year-old could follow in the footsteps of David Luiz and Nemanja Matic but the Blues boss will have to pay a large fee, leaving Benfica with no other choice but to accept it.

After seeing Frank Lampard score four goals in seven days for Manchester City, many punters in the tavern believe Mourinho is now looking at the young attacking midfielder in the hope that he can provide some of the goals which would of been scored by Lampard in the past.

Speaking about the player, Mourinho said: “I think Benfica hired well. They say Talisca is unknown, but he is only so unknown because he’s only not playing in England because he doesn’t have a work permit. If he had one, he would be here!

“There were many English teams, great teams and important, that wanted him. Moreover, there were those who wanted to sign him, even though he could not play for now.”

“They wanted to sign him, put him in a minor league (on loan) and hope that eventually he came to be selected [for Brazil’s national team], and would consequently then get the work permit.”

Something which could sway a move to the bridge is the amount of Brazilians already at the London club with Willian, Oscar, Filipe Luis and Ramires at Stamford Bridge.

This is not to mention the on loan Wallace and Lucas Piazon, plus Diego Costa who was of course also born in Brazil.
