Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have been impressed with the performances of Thibaut Courtois so far this season but remain disappointed that long-serving Petr Cech finds himself out of the team.
And the Daily Mail believes the Czech Republic international goalkeeper could soon be on his way out of the club with Paris Saint-Germain eager to take him on a season-long loan.
Jose Mourinho is keen to keep Cech at the club, insisting he has two of the worlds best goalkeepers plying their trade at Stamford Bridge.
However, Cech is understandably desperate for first team football and will attempt to force through a move to the French capital before the transfer window closes tomorrow.
Paris Saint-Germain would prefer a loan deal however as it would help them keep in line with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play restrictions.
The reigning French Ligue 1 champions were found to have breached the rules last season, meaning they have been forced to restrict their spending so far this summer.
A loan move for Cech would see him link up with former Chelsea defender David Luiz who completed a £50 million move to the Parc Des Princes earlier on this summer.
