We are still none the wiser as to where Frank Lampard will end up next season here in the Football Transfer Tavern, although Simon Sinclair of SportsMole believes LA Galaxy have offered the England midfielder a mega money deal to move to the States.
The MLS side have reportedly offered him a two-year contract worth £6 million.
Lampard however is refusing to make any decision on his future until Rafael Benitez’s replacement arrives in the summer and he knows whether he will still be wanted at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea fans have voiced their disapproval of the treatment of their legendary midfielder this season, with news leaking that he was not going to be offered a new contract when his current deal expires at the end of the season.
There has been word of a U-turn from Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich since then, but nothing is yet to be confirmed.
The 34-year-old has been a standout player for the Blues this season, and is just two goals shy of being the clubs all-time record goalscorer.
Will Lampard take the money and run to the States this summer? Rate this rumour below.
