Chelsea ace rules out proposed move to European giants

PedrodChelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are thankful to see one report has been bitten in the butt today, after a star of theirs ruled out a return to his former employers.

Metro quote Chelsea winger Pedro Rodriguez as stating a return to former club Barcelona is ‘almost impossible’ to secure, although he did admit he still aims to retire with the Catalan giants.

‘If you ask me if I would go back, the answer is clear, because it is a great club with great team-mates and a crowd that appreciates me. I’ve always said that I would retire at Barca, but I know it is very difficult, almost impossible.’

‘It is true (that he hoped for a return), but I have a contract with Chelsea, only took a year there and it will be very difficult for that to happen.’

Chelsea only signed Spanish international Pedro from Barcelona last summer but the 28-year-old has struggled to make a positive impact in the Premier League and our landlord believes he won’t be utilised by Antonio Conte in the season ahead.

Chelsea fans, should you stick or twist with Pedro? Let us know in the comments below!
