Chelsea have revived their season under the leadership of interim head coach Guus Hiddink and the ten games in which the Blues have remained unbeaten has given their supporters here in the Transfer Tavern a much needed lift.
It doesn’t look as though the Dutchman will get the chance to take the Stamford Bridge reigns on a more permanent basis though, with one Blues punter spotting an article in The Express that claims Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has agreed a four-year deal to take the job this summer.
48-year-old boss Allegri has enjoyed success with Juventus, leading them to a domestic double last term, but it’s stated he’s keen to leave Italy this summer for a new challenge in English football- and Chelsea seem set to give him that chance.
Several Blues fans are enjoying a game of pool on the Tavern’s newly clothed table and think the move is a risk with the Italian having never managed in the Premier League, but they do appreciate his credentials and think the club could have done a lot worse.
Our landlord in the Tavern is cleaning the glasses behind the bar and he thinks the Blues fans will appreciate the style of football which the Juve boss will bring to the Bridge and feels he could offer the complete package for Chelsea.
