Chelsea closing in on Real Madrid forward as he looks to join back up with Antonio Conte

It’s been a cracking season for Chelsea in the Premier League and there’s hope Antonio Conte will be able to bring more success to Stamford Bridge next year.

The Italian has taken to life in London like a duck to water and at times, it’s been far too easy for his side as his team have stormed up the Premier League table.

Spurs have lost pace with the Blues in recent weeks and there’s every chance Chelsea could become the new force in English football next season.

And one man that could be joining up with Conte for the second time in his career this summer is Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, who has been linked with a move to the club by Spanish outlet Diario Gol.

The Spanish site claim Morata’s agent has met with Chelsea officials and agreed to move to the Premier League.

He’s somewhat of an outcast in Zidane’s Madrid starting XI and has been struggling for game-time throughout the whole of this campaign.

But we saw his real potential during a loan spell with Juventus where Conte was manager and our Blues-mad landlord believes Conte could unlock his potential once again this summer.

Chelsea fans- would this be a good deal? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
