Chelsea and Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are reacting to a shock transfer admission, with a star suggesting he’s in talks regarding his future.
The Daily Express quotes Paris Saint-Germain ace Marquinhos has admitted he’s in talks with the French side concerning his future, amidst speculation of interest from Premier League duo Manchester United and Chelsea.
“There is always speculation and I have a contract with PSG until 2019, but my situation is in discussion. For me, the important thing is to have the confidence of the club and the manager. Then, we have to assess the project.”
The Brazilian, who’s worth an astonishing £40m to the French giants, is struggling for regular first-team football with the Ligue 1 champions due to competition with compatriots David Luiz and Thiago Silva, who are often selected ahead of the youngster.
Both Chelsea and United are both actively seeking to improve their defensive lines this summer, which has led our landlord to put money on the Brazilian joining a Premier League club.
