Chelsea and Manchester United dealt blow as transfer target given huge price tag

Well today here in the Transfer Tavern it looks like that latter of those three is set to be as true as ever, after talkSPORT have reported a sensational story regarding one of Europe’s most sought after midfielders, Axel Witsel.

They say that potential suitors Chelsea and Manchester United, have been told they will need to pay an eye-watering fee of £70 million if they wish to sign the Zenit St. Petersburg midfield man.

The 26-year old who is part of an emerging Golden generation of Belgian footballers has supposedly spoke to AC Milan and one unnamed Premier League outfit about a possible move.
