Chelsea and Stoke City fans in the Transfer Tavern have settled their differences after the Potters 1-0 victory at the weekend and are now discussing a piece of transfer gossip that concerns both clubs.
TalkSport claim the Premier League duo are keeping tabs on Boca Juniors ace Jonathan Calleri ahead of a potential January swoop, with Serie A giants Inter Milan also keen on the Argentine.
The 22-year-old has excelled with the Primera Division side this season, scoring ten goals and contributing seven assists for his team-mates; with it now appearing that Calleri will become the latest top-talent to leave South America for Europe.
Reports state Stoke are preparing a move in January whilst Chelsea have repeatedly sent scouts to watch the talented forward and, despite interest from Inter, the Premier League is a favoured destination for the young Argentine.
Chelsea require a striker to ignite their forward line, with Diego Costa, Radamel Falcao and Loic Remy all uninspiring this season, whilst Calleri would become the latest excellent talent in Staffordshire if he was to join Stoke.
