The Daily Mail have some good news or Chelsea fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern, after they reported that the Blues have finally secured a work permit for wonder kid Bertrand Traore, with the starlet signing a four and a half year deal.
The club have been fighting hard to land the player on a permanent basis, and know exactly how good he is. As our landlord notes, young talent is the name of the game at Stamford Bridge these days, and Jose Mourinho’s second coming has brought with it the desire to build a second team in his mould. To do this he needs the best an brightest players around – all of whom need to be young enough to, as the Special One would say, hatch in the next few years.
Traore has spoken about the other young stars at the club, such as Eden Hazard, Oscar and Juan Mata, all of whom are more established, and he has stated they are a massive lure and inspiration to him.
He also claimed that the Mourinho factor was a huge one in him being happy to join the Blues, noting: ‘Jose Mourinho is one of the best managers in the world, maybe the best.
‘He spoke to me a lot during training, he is a very good person.’
‘It is a dream for me to work with him. I can now say I am living the dream.’
