Chelsea have let so many top talents go in recent years, and another appears to be edging closer to the exit. Callum Hudson-Odoi is apparently increasingly likely to join Bayern Munich, according to Sky Germany, with the Blues - likely against their will - running out of options.

However, the Blues need to consider just how much of a poor decision this would been. They've had great young players before, but it's been a while since a youngster as talented as Callum Hudson-Odoi has been on the scene.

The attacker looked right at home in the Chelsea squad over the summer, owing to his incredible pace, energy and dribbling, and given the poor form of Willian, in particular, it's a travesty that he hasn't had a proper chance this season.

There is a simple solution to all of this. You can bet that if the Blues give Hudson-Odoi a few chances, he'd have no problem staying and renewing his deal. Instead, though, the Blues seemingly look set to let him go - as they've done with so many before.

Despite all of these reports of foreign interest, Maurizio Sarri has done little to suggest that he's willing to give the young player a chance, and in doing so, he's ridding Chelsea of any hope of holding on to the youngster.

You can't blame Hudson-Odoii, of course, given his lack of action, but Chelsea fans will be hugely frustrated about this news. This would be a mistake of epic proportions, and could go down as even worse than the decisions to move on players like Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku.
