Christian Pulisic has only started three league games for Chelsea since officially arriving from Borussia Dortmund in the summer (via Transfermarkt).
Is it time for Pulisic to be starting regularly?
The United States international has featured mainly from the sidelines for the Blues and was again a late introduction against Ajax in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
Pulisic may have only been on the pitch for 24 minutes at the Yohan Cruyff Arena, but he made a vital contribution when he assisted fellow substitute Michy Batshuayi on the 86th minute.
The 21-year-old laid-off his former Dortmund teammate to score the only goal of the game, taking his total for assists to five in all competitions this term.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has admitted that Pulisic’s recent performances have put him in contention for a start against Burnley this weekend, though with plenty of other options available to the Blues boss, earning that fourth start of the campaign at Turf Moor still looks a difficult task.
