Chelsea boss admits kids will be given a chance but need to earn it

Mourinho PellegriniThe Daily Mail has certainly managed to create a buzz here in the Football Transfer Tavern after they claimed that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is willing to hand a chance to some of his young starlets.

Chelsea fans sat by the pool table note that their crop of youngsters are some of the most talented the club have ever seen, and the hopes of actually having an academy product make the first team after seeing John Terry become the last player to do so are actually high.

We think that there are at least three players that will make it and the rest will have decent footballing careers away from Stamford Bridge, and Mourinho has already made it clear that Ruben Loftus-Cheek will have a chance in the first team next term – and we don’t think he will be the only one.

The Blues boss has issued a word of warning – the kids will get a chance but will have to earn their place in the side and we would expect nothing less.

Chelsea fans. How many of your kids will make the first team? Do you actually think that a chance to buy Paul Pogba will be ignored for Ruben Loftus-Cheek? Let us know your thoughts below.
