Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are having worried discussions after reading reports suggesting that one of their biggest names could be leaving the club in the summer.
According to The Metro, Guus Hiddink has revealed that Chelsea winger, Eden Hazard, could be leaving the club at the end of the season.
The Chelsea winger has had a frustrating season so far, failing to show the same world class form that had him regarded as one of the world’s best footballers.
The Belgian was said to be unhappy under Jose Mourinho and looked to be off the mark in Chelsea’s 5-1 win over MK Dons but still admitted that he would consider leaving at the end of the season.
When asked if Hazard could be sold at the end of the season, Hiddink revealed that the 25-year-old could leave if the right offer was on the table.
‘It’s not up to me – it’s up to the club. My advice to Eden is he could be a Chelsea great for years to come – but he could leave in the summer. He’s of big value to Chelsea – a very important player, a nice player. But he’s been struggling with injuries for a while now.’
Our landlord believes an exit for Hazard is inevitable and Chelsea fans must start preparing themselves for the player’s departure.
