Chelsea boss CONFIRMS Blues outcast will remain in January?

Andre SchurrleSky Sports certainly have Chelsea fans nodding in agreement here in the Football Transfer Tavern after they run some quotes from Jose Mourinho who wants one of his fringe players to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Andre Schurrle has been heavily linked with a move back to Germany since coming home from the World Cup and struggling to adapt back to life in the top flight of English football.

However, after impressing against Newcastle United and Sporting Lisbon of late, all attention turned back onto the winger with Mourinho pulling no punches over his future.

The Chelsea boss claimed: “He is in my plans. We had a problem when he went to the national team the last time and he came back very, very ill and was in trouble for quite a long time.

“Today he had 75 minutes to improve his form, he is a player who needs to adapt better to the Premier League but is also a player that in three shots usually scores a goal. That’s an important quality.”

Chelsea fans. Do you still think that Schurrle can display the same form for you that he does for Germany? Let us know your thoughts below.
