The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern want to see what he can do…
Young Brazilian Kenedy was a bit of a surprise package under Jose Mourinho, with the 20-year-old getting a decent run in the Chelsea first team – with the Blues lacking adequate depth across the attack and defence.
A natural winger, Kenedy was often given a role as a wing-back under Mourinho and in truth, he really impressed in the limited game time that he received.
However, following the appointment of Antonio Conte, Kenedy was sent out on a season-long loan. The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern deemed this a pretty good decision, as it would allow Kenedy to get a full season of regular football – ahead of a Chelsea return next season.
However, it really hasn’t worked out. Kenedy has hardly had a kick at Watford – and this has seemingly forced Chelsea to act.
As per Antonio Conte, via the official Chelsea Twitter, Kenedy has had his loan cut short – and he is now present back at Chelsea.

Whilst the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are disappointed that he couldn’t get game time, they feel that a return to Chelsea was the best course of action. They want to see if he can live up to the hype after a stellar first season in England – with Conte’s wing-back system perfect for the young Brazilian.
Our landlord is expecting another loan, though.
