Chelsea fans enter the Football Transfer Tavern full of excitement as Jose Mourinho is already looking to improve their already dominant squad next season via the acquisition of a £20 million right back.
According to Metro, Seamus Coleman is already on Jose Mourinho’s transfer list for next summer and he seems like the perfect replacement for Branislav Ivanovic.
It is believed that scouts have been sent out to examine and compile an in-depth report on the 25-year-old who would be bought to go straight into the first team.
However, Mourinho is not the only manager interested in the Republic of Ireland international with Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal also keen on the full back, who is capable of playing as a wing back and an a more defensive minded full back.
Everton are believed to holding out for at least £20 million as he is contracted to the club until 2019 and is pivotal in their game plan as they like to get both him and Leighton Baines on the ball frequently, making the pitch wide.
Although if Coleman was to leave Goodison Park, people believe he is most likely to leave for Stamford Bridge as he would like to experience playing in the Champions League which is something Manchester United can not provide at the moment.
Chelsea and Manchester United fans. Do you think there is any chance of Seamus Coleman transferring clubs next summer or will Everton play hard-ball as they always seem to do? Let us know your thoughts.
