Chelsea can add new intent to their attacking play with the capture of this tricky wide forward

Chelsea head into the 2017/18 season as Premier League Champions and looking to get themselves back in among the chasing pack who can win the Champions League come May.

The Blues fans here in the Tavern are wanting even more success following the excellent first season under Antonio Conte, and they will be hoping for an active summer in the transfer market.

This week, chat over by the jukebox has firmly turned to just who Conte could look to bring in, and one name who has been brought up is current Napoli forward, Lorenzo Insigne.

The Italian international has fast become one of the stars of Serie A over the last few seasons, and there is little doubt he can take his talents elsewhere and show the world exactly what he can do.

Insigne is a player of enormous potential, and at 26, should be about to enter his prime years. He is approaching nearly 200 appearances for Napoli, and while he remains their main man in terms of goals, he could well be up for a new challenge on a personal level.

A move to Chelsea could set him up nicely for the next few years of his career, and his exciting style of play, pacey dribbling, and ability to score out of nothing, would make him an excellent addition at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea fans, what do you think to this? Good signing? Let us know!
