Chelsea close to securing transfer deal with Juventus for 28-year-old winger

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are quite keen to see some of their loan stars given more of a chance next season.

Chelsea have an infamous reputation for allowing loads of players to leave on loan and never giving them a first team chance.

When we spoke to the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern, they have expressed their desire to see some top performing loan stars being integrated into the squad for next season as they will need a larger squad to cope with the demands of Champions League football.

Tammy Abraham (Bristol City), Lewis Baker (Vitesse), Andreas Christensen (Borussia Monchengladbach) and Bertrand Traore (Ajax) are just a handful of examples.

But there is one player that Chelsea will probably not see back in their squad again, according to reports in the Italian media.

Italian sports news source Calcio Mercato is reporting that Juventus are closing in on the permanent signing of Juan Cuadrado.

The Colombian international signed a three year loan with Juventus last summer and now looks set to become a permanent member of the Serie A champions.

The 28-year-old was used sparingly by Chelsea and is looking to end his Stamford Bridge nightmare with a permanent move to Juventus.

Chelsea fans – how much can you get from Cuadrado? Let us know below…
