Chelsea could reportedly be convinced to sell key attacker – on one condition

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern don’t want to see Eden Hazard leave the club this summer…

However, it appears as though Antonio Conte is very slowly coming around to the idea – with Don Balon reporting that the Italian has something up his sleeve. According to Don Balon, whilst Conte doesn’t want to sell Hazard, the manager could be willing to do a deal for him – on the condition that Alvaro Morata, Raphael Varane and a sizeable transfer fee all come to Chelsea in return.

Eden Hazard is clearly very highly-rated at Chelsea, and with good reason. He has been the Blues’ best player this season, offering a direct, technical threat going forward – whilst also adding an impressive defensive aspect to his game.

Certainly, Chelsea would not be wise to sell him – but that being said, the prospect of Varane and Morata coming to Stamford Bridge is certainly an exciting one.

Varane is arguably one of Europe’s most talented young defenders, and whilst he has had injury issues as of late, the Blues’ fitness staff have done excellently to keep their squad fit this season – so a move to London could really work out well for the French defender.

Meanwhile, Morata has been in fine form this season – having bagged 15 goals so far – highlighting just what he would bring to Stamford Bridge.

Our landlord doesn’t think Hazard should be sold – but if Morata and Varane come – Conte may be wise to consider it.
