Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been given a slight boost today, as they were informed upon their arrival at the bar that a flop of theirs could still be offloaded before the month is out.
The Daily Star state that, despite the transfer window slamming shut on Monday evening, Chelsea still have a chance of offloading Radamel Falcao and ending his abysmal season long association with the Blues prematurely.
This is because the Chinese transfer window remains open until the 26th February and Jiangsu Suning are keen on bringing the Colombian to the Far East.
China have been making waves in recent weeks, signing Ramires from the Blues in a £25m deal last week and adding Jackson Martinez to their talented crop of players in the league today, following a £31m acquisition from Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea added Alexandre Pato to their books over the mid-season window, which means there is cover should Falcao depart, and the Blues keeping hold of Loic Remy has led our landlord to believe the club is actively seeking potential suitors for Falcao.
Blues fans, should offloading Falcao this month be a top priority? Let us know in the comments below!
