Chelsea Defender Ready To Walk Away From Stamford Bridge

With Chelsea’s recent defensive troubles, it may have surprised some that Carlo Ancelotti did not give some of his young centre backs more of a chance to impress and gain some valuable first team experience.

One of Chelsea’s young ‘uns, 19 year-old Jeffrey Bruma, has apparently had enough of languishing in the reserves, and is ready to leave the club which he feels has never given him a chance to shine.

Bruma has told Voetbal International Radio: “I’m definitely interested in going on loan. We’ll have to wait and see what happens in the next few weeks.”

The young defender insists he simply does not know what Chelsea want from him, and that he would welcome the chance to return to the Dutch Eredivisie in January.

“I am very charmed if I could play for PSV. They are playing at the top of the table in the Eredivisie and play European football. It would be nice to play there.”
