Chelsea eye move for ‘best talent’ in Italian league

mourinhoooo!Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been alerted to reports that state one of Italy’s most exciting players could be on his way to Stamford Bridge.

TalkSport state Jose Mourinho’s side are chasing the signature of Cesena star Stefano Sensi, who is widely considered to be the best talent in Italy’s second-tier, the Serie B.

The Blues are currently struggling in 16th position in the Premier League table and are in need of January recruits to turn their fortunes around, as they face the mammoth task of trying to secure a spot in the top-four; a position they currently trail by 13 points.

However, securing Sensi’s signature will not be easy as Chelsea face Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli in the race for the 20-year-old.

Cesena, sitting fourth in Serie B, are unlikely to stand in the way of the player should a big-club come calling but will want a significant fee for his signature, as Sensi’s departure could result in a dramatic change in the side’s promotion chances.

Chelsea fans, is a signing like this what you need? Do young players need to be given a chance at Stamford Bridge? Let us know in the comments below!
