Interestingly, it doesn’t look as if money will be an issue, as Monaco are believed to have inserted a release clause of 7.5m Euros (£6.6m) in Jardim’s improved contract. But, Arsenal are also thought to be interested, with Arsene Wenger set to leave the Emirates at the end of the season.
The Blues would be welcoming one of the most impressive managers in the whole of world football to Stamford Bridge if they can manage to land him, as he has enjoyed four successful seasons in the Ligue 1, where he managed to guide Monaco to the French title and to the Champions League semi-finals.
Chelsea will be desperate to welcome a manager like Jardim to Stamford Bridge in the summer, as he has ensured progression at his current club and has even beaten world giants Paris Saint-Germain to the French title. So, the Blues can expect silverware and success if they manage to land the Venezuelan at the end of the season, as many of our local residents are beginning to get excited.
