Chelsea fans aren’t stupid. They all know that the chances of Eden Hazard staying at Stamford Bridge past this summer are slim. Even if he does go, though, he’ll leave as a hero. The Belgian has lit up Stamford Bridge since his arrival in 2012 and he’s remained humble throughout, with his comments last night only proving that further.
“No, they’re wrong”
Eden Hazard reacts to West Ham fans singing ‘He’s off to Madrid’ during tonight’s London derby.

The Chelsea man was interviewed after his spectacular brace helped to down the Hammers, and when he was asked if the West Ham fans were right when they were chanting ‘He’s off to Madrid’, the Belgian was as humble as ever in his response. He replied that the away support were wrong and that he’s committed to Chelsea until the end of the season and then we’ll see, and the Blues appreciated his response.
It’s becoming inevitable that the Chelsea man will be leaving the club and signing for Real Madrid in the summer. The rumours continue to circle and it seems like a matter of when and not if he’ll be departing London. However, it’s not all bad as the Belgian still has a couple of months left to try and help the Blues secure top four and maybe even win the Europa League before they profit greatly from his departure.
You can read the Blues’ thoughts on Hazard’s comments here:
If he stays or goes he has carried himself with class. Been superb on the pitch and flawless attitude off it. You can see he loves and respects Chelsea. After what he has done for us, we should respect any decision he makes; he deserves to look back on his career with no regrets

He’s gone, but what a pro. Best player I’ve seen in a Chelsea shirt. Wish him all the best if he goes

The Blues will miss Hazard desperately when he leaves, but until then they’re going to enjoy every second that the Belgian is still at the club.
